Overton now accessible to WAYF organisations, through eduGAIN

The platform Overton from Open Policy Ltd is now accessible to WAYF user organisations, thanks to eduGAIN. Overton helps users understand the policy landscape and to find, document, and increase the real-world impact of their work.

Danish research and educational institutions that are connected to WAYF and have a license for Overton now have the ability to let their students and staff access Overton using their familiar institutional logins – without each institution needing to do any technical integration. Additionally, these institutions don't need to maintain separate SSO integrations to Overton – yet their students and staff still achieve single sign-on in the browser for all web services accessed via the institution’s login system.

This simple way of accessing Overton was made possible through the international login collaboration eduGAIN — through which WAYF has enabled users with accounts at WAYF institutions to access Overton in our British sister federation, the UK Access Management Federation for Education and Research. Copenhagen Business School is the first institution to take advantage of this effortless access to Overton. Institutions wishing to make use of this option simply need to contact their representative at Overton and express their wish (to access their Overton license via eduGAIN). That’s all it takes.
